It seems to me that you’re kind of stuck in a place you don’t even live. What I mean is that you keep trying to get in contact with me to hang out but I’ve got other things going every time, you’re thinking about asking Eli to the prom, you can’t drive, and you live 30 miles away. This is not a persuasive piece, it’s just a question: have you considered just finding a new group to hang out with that’s closer at hand? It sounds like you’re having a hard time finding anything to do with your free time and your parents are bagging on you as they always have. Why not spend some more time where you are developing some new connections? You can still come hang with us once in a while and we can always chat on Tumblr or text, but you yourself have declared that it simply isn’t feasible to maintain a constant presence so far away.
